Whoua !
i'm so keen on dEUS for ages, and yesterday night was the best gig ever ! I have already seen them 4 times and this one was the most amazing one!
i was just a bit desapointed by public... so quiet ! I was feeling alone jumping, and singing all along the gig.... thanks so much to the real fans, still there, long life to dEUS, a genius band, and I m usually so critical....
It is the first time i m looking for blog in internet but i needed to share my happyness, thanks to dEUS and Zita !

B4 all, thanks a lot for this post so early after the show ! how did you manage to do that ?
Anyway I felt the same than you, including the beer parenthesis during Ozark Henry, and plus the surprising Saule set, during which I laughed a lot! I'm looking forward to seeing them again, as I missed half the show...

dEUS were at their best, I agree, as I've seen them two more times this summer, starting in Skabazac 2nd of June, where they did very well to warm up a young but attentive crowd in a freezing cold weather.
Then, as for my birthday present, I went to see them at Solidays, in Paris, the 7th of July then. And there, altough the weather, this time, was quite warm, the gig, or say, the crowd, was like petrified. It was a pity and I thought to myself that dEUS wouldn't be too enthousiastic to play in Paris for a festival before a while. Tom would try hard to cheer up the crowd, to make everybody answer his questions and all, but this was a sleepy/ing audience. Plus they had two technical problems, including the one that made them start "Suds and Soda" very slowly -say, after 2minutes of violin solo!- because Tom guitar's wouldn't work. In other word, I felt bad for them and they were very brave to play honestly enough in front of such a public!

But then, there was yesterday night : probably the best dEUS gig I've ever seen indeed !!! Absolutely high, Tom was moving and jumping everywhere, and so did I, as usual. Fortunately this time, I wasn't the only one to do so, and there were big fans or at least enthousiastic people! Nice atmosphere, then, and amazing indeed to see Stef back on stage with dEUS !!! Very charming guy, as charismatic as Tom can be.
They ended the gig with a perfect "Roses".
The only thing I could regret was the lack of encore ; I would have spend the night listening anyway...
And they seemed to be very happy to play here, again, surrounded by old mates...

Magic in the air, definitely !
