REALLY!!! Enjoyed the gig.....and am also REally enjoying this site.dEUS (along with many other musicians) got me through a period living and (unfortunately) working in Amsterdam back in 1999/2000.....saw them play in Europe a few times before and was, therefore, glad to witness them playing in Dublin (Mein own Stadt).
They had a nice swagger about them that night....By the way Jyves...the reason You had an unbalanced sound experience..is because you were positioned up at the front left of stage...because...the instrument mixes are monitored out in a balanced fashion..with seperation of Bass-heavy sounds such as Bass/Toms etc towards one side more than the other (The left side)...if you were in the middle-front of stage...(where I was)...the balance was ecstasy.....I loved it.....hoped you enjoyed Dublin....The Village Bar..is a little bit 'stylish' (though not really...have u been to Berlin..New York..Stockholm?)....as are all new bars in Dublin..but the ladies are usually 'easy on the eye' (sometimes)...which makes it a pleasure..but there are many WAY better bars/clubs....better luck next time......anyhows

thanks for an informative and rather cool site
God exists...Long live dEUS

Great gig on friday night. It had been years since id seen these guys last so I was really looking forward to it and they lived up to my expectations. Yes, the cloakroom is always a disaster. Not the worst venue though. Hope you enjoyed your short time in dublin.

Great blog by the way, id passed in on to all my mates well before the gig!.
