First draft(s)!
Chatted a little yesterday with a Dutch bootlegger who uses the same microphone as me but records onto an iRiver mp3 player. He was nice enough to send me his recording of W.C.S., so we could compare which wins, my MD or his mp3 player. Mmmmh… I might just have lost. Listen!
dEUS - W.C.S. (First Draft) - Patronaat, Haarlem, 08.09.2005 (as recorded by Grigio)
Talking of those gadgets… My old MD died last year at the dEUS gig in Luxembourg. This is one of the last things it recorded: [edited] an early [/edited] live outing of Pocket Revolution. Beware - the sound is very hiccuppy

I’m sorry to say, but the very first live outing of Pocket Revolution was at the Mezz in breda earlier that month and not in Luxemburg.

Sorry to disagree Jyves, but I think your recording is clearer and has more atmosphere! Don’t chuck the old MD yet.

Mmh, I dunno, that recording of WCS has more “oomph” I think… Anyway, doesn’t matter, I love my MD, it’s a great one and MD’s look less generic than those MP3 players that you see everywhere these days… RIP my iPod by the way. The battery went berserk, and as it’s impossible to open that thing without the proper tools, it’s all melted electronics inside. Coooooked!
